I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve as minister of the First Congregational Church of Kittery Point. This community has welcomed me and my family with open hearts, and I look forward to walking alongside this amazing congregation in worship, learning, and service.

I’ve spent more than a decade in parish ministry and over fifteen years in social services and mental health. That path has shown me the importance of listening—whether at a bedside, in a living room, or during a walk with someone whose burdens run deeper than words. Over the years I’ve helped lead teams, shape programs, and offer workshops, and the work I value most is the kind that reminds me of our shared need for compassion and community.

Beyond ministry, I stay grounded by spending time with my wife of 36 years, Lisanne, exploring the rugged beauty of the Maine coast with our two dogs, Daisy and Percy, who keep us laughing and remind us not to take ourselves too seriously. Music is another joy in my life; I’m rarely happier than when I’ve got a mandolin, guitar, banjo, or bodhrán in hand, singing along with whoever’s nearby.

Together, Lisanne and I have raised two adopted children, Maya and Lou, both of whom are now in their mid-20s. They continue to be some of my best teachers—showing me, day by day, that grace, humor, and resilience often matter more than any carefully laid plan.
