Annual Youth Christmas Pageant: The Four Gifts of Advent

Join us for two special Worship Experiences this morning!

8:00a.m. "Awaiting Joy's Arrival" --“A voice cries out in the wilderness…and what do we hear?“  Silence can be a Joyful sound…especially in a world filled with screens, words, bright lights and nonsense noise.  Lighting the third Advent candle calls our attention to all the things usually overlooked and unheard. How do you speak of the unspeakable? Can you hear the voice of the voiceless?  Hear in the silent night the sounds of gratitude, compassion, and Joy.

10:00a.m. Annual Youth Christmas Pageant!  Join us for a special Youth-led worship service in which they present "The Four Gifts of Advent!"  Come and celebrate!

Tied Together through Liturgy

Liturgy means "work of the people."  When we talk about our Liturgical Calendar, we are talking about the way our faith tradition structures time to empower our people to do the work of loving and serving God's Creation throughout the entire year.  On this last Sunday of the Christian calendar year, we invite you to come experience the Entire Liturgical Year in One Worship Service.  If you've ever wondered why we do what we do at different times of year, you can come experience it first hand in 60 minutes or less!  Come celebrate!

Family Night Out: Lasagna Dinner!

After “getting our feet wet” with the success of our October Kids & Family Community Dinner, we are doing it again in November with a delicious lasagna dinner (including gluten free lasagna, bread, salad, and dessert). Take out meals will be available. The suggested donation is $6 per person. Give yourself a wonderful meal out and help a good cause, which this month will be veterans’ programs to assist veterans in need and in honor of all veterans on Veterans’ Day. Invite family, friends, and neighbors, too; the more the merrier! Chef Steve Hoffman will again be in the kitchen. He will be assisted by an able and enthusiastic crew of kids and parents who will handle everything from greeting and serving to clean up and tear down.
