The First Congregational Church in Kittery Point will host their 109th annual Christmas Fair on Friday, December 5th, from 3 pm until 7 pm. Doors will open at 2:00 for shoppers in need of mobility aids or accessible shopping.
Traditional favorites will return, including Handmade Gifts and knits, the Bakery Table, and the Candy Shoppe, where guests can mix and match a variety of homemade sweets to bring home by the box. The fresh hand-decorated wreaths are the first stop for many shoppers, so come early for the best selection. You can step outside the 1729 Parish House and find them on display alongside other holiday arrangements, aged Grafton cheddar cheeses, and the Hot Cocoa Bar.
The Cook’s Corner will be stocked with Valerie’s small-batch jams, jellies, pickles, and preserves, and the “Kittery’s Got Talent” silent auction will feature special one-of-a-kind items and experiences made and donated by members and friends of the church.
In addition to the indoor offerings, guests are invited to stroll the church grounds while enjoying hot cocoa and caroling around the fire pit. When it gets chilly, pop inside the Parish House for a cup of chowder and a sandwich, or visit the 1730 Church for live holiday music.
